My stay at the Shekinah Yoga Retreat was an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.  From the moment I arrived I was touched by the beauty and spirituality of the place.  The garden was a haven of peace and calm – a perfect place to chill and rest.  I was amazed at how colourful and decorative every room was.  It made me feel excited to be part of the programme.  The staff were hospitable and devoted and I liked how they prepared the food with love and blessed it.  I enjoyed the meals which were beautifully presented and very healthy.  Our yoga teacher, Michelle was excellent and very inspirational.  I liked the variety of the classes and I benefited from all styles i.e. the Hatha, the Restorative and the more uplifting yoga with some Kundalini which we practised at the end of the stay, invigorated and empowered me to go home.  I liked that our group was small and intimate and we got on so well together.  I thought the whole weekend was carefully planned out with free time to go for walks, visit the town, take part in meditation and chanting or just chill.  The luxury of the sauna and massage was a bonus.  I would definitely recommend this retreat, only a few more days would have been ideal.  I am hoping to go again in the future as it was so enjoyable.

Heartfelt thanks for the amazing yoga retreat over the weekend at Glastonbury. 

Absolutely wonderful.  It left me feeling refreshed, energized and glowing.  Totally recharged.  That’s how I felt and how my family and friends said I looked.

 

I particularly enjoyed the diversity of the yoga practice and the opportunity to try different styles of yoga    which I found so interesting.  As the classes were an hour and a half long and well structured, we were able to relax into the poses, finding the place between comfort and challenge.  Michelle is such a patient and talented teacher.  We had adequate time to relax fully at the beginning and at the end of each class in addition to the breathing exercises.

 

The lovingly prepared whole food plant based menu was delicious and nutritious.  Such a creative chef. 

 

The weekend was blissful.  Great accommodation too. Honestly, you'll love it.

I can highly recommend this retreat.

This was my first yoga retreat and I loved every minute of the whole experience. Great weather, great people, great food, great energy. I loved the fact that all the yoga classes were different. I felt so happy and blissful taking time out for myself and being around good vibes. I slept this weekend without any sleeping tablets. I loved the sauna, the kirtan music and the massage too.

 

Michelle's playlist was perfect for all of the yoga classes as it really set the mood and atmosphere. I loved that the location of the retreat was right in the centre of Glastonbury with all of the attractions within walking distance. I loved my clean room with a comfortable bed. 

 

I am definitely booking for the next retreat.

What a great experience Michelle. Your kindness and giving of your free time to drive us to Ramla Beach and trips to Victoria market. Arranging a great night at Rangers. Most of all I loved the morning mediation and then yoga by the pool. Thank you for my Magical stay in Gozo which shall stay in my memory forever.

Also,Namaste to Philen our wonderful chef and his lovely gentle talks about mindfulness when we shared our delicious meals around the table. The beautifully presented breakfasts and evening meals.
