Yoga Retreat

Dates to be confirmed...

Join Michelle as she returns to the magical, unspoilt island of Gozo for a nourishing Yoga retreat.

Gozo is a small and friendly island in the Mediterranean Sea and with close proximity to Malta and Sicily.

The island is steeped in ancient history and stunning scenery to explore. To name just a few attractions, Ta Pinu, a church that is well known for it's healing powers, the laidback capital of Victoria, beautiful beaches such as Ramla Bay, the blue lagoon and the gorge which are great for swimming. With its warm weather from May-October and very relaxed and safe atmosphere, Gozo is an ideal destination for a Yoga holiday.

The island is accessed by flight to Malta International Airport and then a taxi to the boat port and a ferry across.

The week is an opportunity to deepen your Yoga and meditation practice, rest and rejuvenate.  The retreat will bring you daily yoga classes, (vegan) Ayurvedic food, plenty of relaxation time and a selection of treatments.

Your accommodation

The retreat will be hosted at a tranquil and beautiful 300 year old converted farmhouse named Dar al Hena, meaning House of Happiness; this is located in the small village of Ghasri. The rooms are shared and there are various sleeping options.

The house has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and comprises of 4 shared bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, 2 roof terraces, a treatment room, indoor and outdoor seated areas, a private swimming pool and free WiFi.

The house has a calming and light energy; perfect for a week of Yoga.

There are bus stops nearby for travelling to the capital, Victoria and exploring the island. There is also a mini supermarket within walking distance.  If you choose to leave the island on your free day, Malta is only a ferry ride away.

Ayurvedic healing food is served daily for breakfast and dinner which is lovingly prepared by your personal chef for the week, Philen, aka 'That Indian Food Guy'.

Philen cooks using the ancient practices of Ayurveda from India which combines certain tastes and spices to heal bodies from the inside out. Ayurvedic foods are associated with creating health, vitality and energy. Your taste buds will tingle with a variety of exciting vegetarian meals.
